Levels of education
The social and economic importance of education lies in its triple value: state, public and personal. The first two derive from the dependence of the level of development of social progress in all spheres of activity on its quality and the saturation of branches of the economy by workers of high qualification level. The personal value of education is to provide opportunities for each person to develop their abilities, acquire new knowledge, acquire a profession that will be realized in a certain sphere of professional activity and acquire the desired social status with the provision of an appropriate level of well-being. Thus, the levels of education become the main means of development of the humanitarian essence of man and the way of its formation as the leading productive force.
The emergence of a social need for educated individuals is caused by the mobility of the economic system and scientific and technological progress that significantly affect the labor market. The need for personnel of a certain qualification and professional level is changing. In this case, education performs both social and economic functions. The social function is to protect the population from unemployment by providing educational services and increasing the competitiveness of a specialist in the labor market. For the performance of the economic function, education serves as an institution to meet the needs of economic sectors in the frames of a certain professional and qualification orientation.
The main value of education is the ability to discover, form, develop a person's abilities, instill in him the desire for constant self-improvement.
