About the next goddess I want to say separately. She is not only to this day is a symbol of female beauty. Everything else, the history of its origin is hidden mystery.

About the birth of Aphrodite there are a lot of arguments and assumptions. The first version of the goddess was born from semen and blood and Cronus castrated Uranus that fell into the sea and formed foam. The second version: Aphrodite arose from sea shells.
