After all, the lack of electricity in the network means that the surgeon will not be able to conduct an emergency operation, the production shops will stop and the power units in them will be shut off (and this also carries a high threat to life and human health). In general, if you say pathetic, the state district power station (the deciphering of the abbreviation implies a state regional electric power station) is the indefatigable creator of life on our planet. Technical development of the station

In September 2015, the plant management announced the launch of a new technology - eco-friendly coal combustion. Power it is called a circulating fluidized bed.

The essence of the idea is as follows. During the combustion of coal in the boiler, the temperature will not be maintained above 900 degrees, which is two times lower than the usual temperature regime for such a process. Thanks to this, the burning time of the coal will not be four minutes, but forty minutes. Due to this, the fuel will be burned completely, thereby reducing the emission of harmful elements into the atmosphere and the environment.

Thus, Novocherkasskaya GRES will be the first power plant in Russia, where this technology will be used. The restart of the ninth power unit for this purpose is planned for the first quarter of 2016.

The power of Siberia

Berezovskaya GRES is practically the youngest coal station in the entire Siberian region. The beginning of its full functioning dates back to 1987. In our time, the power of the station is about 1550 MW (for other data 1600 MW).

By the way, this state regional electric power station has a unique system of fuel supply. The bulk of the coal used is delivered to the station from the Berezovsky deposit of the Kansk-Achinsk basin. For this, two fourteen kilometer open conveyors are used, which in their own way are the most complicated units, even despite the standard performance.

The power plant was initially included in the work of the energy system of Siberia. The share of this industrial facility accounts for about 6% of all electricity in the region. And if you take only the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where it is built, then this figure will already be about 20%.

Operational problems and their solution

Due to the fact that during the operation of this power plant (the decoding of the abbreviated name is absolutely identical to all other similar power stations), the process of slagging the working surfaces of the boilers occurred, its power was somewhat reduced. However, the engineering building of the station found a way out. A whole complex of measures was developed and implemented, which allowed to increase the capacity of the used boilers. For this purpose, new systems for diagnostics of slagging and control in automatic mode by water blasting have been introduced. As a result, January 2006 was marked by the withdrawal of the station to a new working capacity.

Also, the distinguishing feature of the power plant is its chimney, whose height is 370 meters. And to this day this facility is considered the highest on the whole territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, the station found a place for non-standard engineering solutions. So, pulverized coal boiler has a unique installation scheme - it was suspended and fixed on special ridges with reinforced profile.
